Tim is a precocious young boy who has a lot of wishes in his brain. When a professor friend of his tells him about a wish-granting supernova, he is thrilled, but as so often happens with wishes, he does not receive what he expected. What happens is that he finds himself in the body of a dog. He's unable to communicate with his friends and family, at least in the traditional way, and he gains a very different perspective on the world by seeing it through a dog's eyes. Will he ever be able to return to his human body?
