Executioners from Shaolin

Description

According to Chinese legend, there were 5 Shaolin Temple elders during the Ch'ing Dynasty. The White Eyebrow priest, a Taoist, allegedly betrayed the others to the Manchu authorities, and was eventually defeated by a combination of Tiger and Crane styles, both found in the Hung Gar kung fu system. Hung Gar master and director/choreographer brought this legend to the screen in Executioners From Shaolin. In one of his most famous roles (to be reprised in Tarrantino's Kill Bill 2), Lo Lieh portrays The White Eyebrow priest. 1969 Southeast Asian Martial Arts Champion Chan Koon Tai portrays Hung Hei Koon, the founder of Hung Gar kung fu.
