Description

Directed by Ralkumar Santoshi, Lajja is a Hindi film that is based on how women in India are treated. Lajja has some of the best Hindi actors and actresses including: Rekha (Ramdulaari), Manisha Koirala (Vaidehi), Mahima Chaudhary (Maithali) and Jaya Bhattacharya (Lata). The movie is based around the lives of four women who are ill-treated in India and who bravely try to make a world for themselves despite the view of women in India.
