Pain and Gain

Description

The film Pain and Gain, set in the 1990s in Miami, Florida, is based on a true story of three men who embark on an ill-advised plan to extort assets from their victims. In a dark turn of the Horacio Alger story, three weightlifters become dissatisfied with their lives as trainers at a gym. They are envious of the rich people who pay them to work as personal trainers. Daniel Lugo, played by Mark Wahlberg, who is also known as Marky Mark is the leader. His sidekick and wingman is Adrian Doorbal, played by Anthony Mackie. The third man is a very sweet ex-convict and born-again Christian, Paul Doyle, played by Dwayne Johnson, who is also known by his wrestling name, The Rock.
