Description

Made with technology similar to that of Spy Kids, Shark Boy and Lava girl was directed by Robert Rodriguez. Sharkboy and Lava girl stars Taylor Lautner, Taylor Dooley, Cayden Boyd, David Arquette, Kristin Davis and George Lopez. Cayden Boyd plays Max a lonely child who in an attempt to amuse himself creates an imaginary place called Plant Drool. He then creates two main characters Sharkboy (Taylor Lautner) and Lava Girl (Taylor Dooley). He decides that Sharkboy's parents were killed at sea so he was raised by sharks and that Lavagirl can produce fire and lava but cannot touch anything without setting them on fire. In his fantasyland, Sharkboy and Lavagirl are tasked to protect Planet Drool from danger. Meanwhile in real life, Max's parents are too busy for him and he is being bullied at school by a boy named Linus. The only person friendly to him is Marissa (Sasha Pieterse) the daughter of Mr. Electricidad(George Lopez). Max is later transported to planet Drool after a tornado hits and Sharkboy and Lavagirl appear to ask for his help. Together, the three of them must save plant Drool by using some of Max's daydreams.
